Mark and Alexis Montfort are a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in South Georgia and decades of combined experience in landscaping, horticulture, and design. Together, they own and operate Montfort Group Landscape Company, Wildwood Greenery Nursery & Garden Center, and Toombs Outdoors—businesses built on craftsmanship, integrity, and community pride.
Mark’s passion for outdoor spaces began at 14 when he rebuilt his first mower and started a small lawn service. That early spark led him to earn degrees in Horticulture and Agricultural Education from the University of Georgia and to gain hands-on experience with leading landscape firms, including work at the 1996 Olympic Park.
Alexis brings creativity and business expertise to every project. With degrees in business education from Georgia Southern University, she combines her love of design with a strong foundation in management and customer care.
Now, through Desjoyaux Pools, the Montforts are expanding their mission of creating beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces for families across South Georgia. Outside of work, they enjoy life with their two children, Dallas and Savannah, and are grateful to serve the community they call home.
